On Tuesday 19th December the Upper School of Amwell View came together to celebrate at the Christmas Service. Each class had made a figure out of various different materials to represent each character in the Nativity story.
Class 10 made the Angel, Class 11 made the Star, Class 4 made the Donkey, Community Class made Mary, Class 12 made Joseph, Students 2 made Baby Jesus, Students 1 made the Shepherd and the Sheep and Class 9 made the Wise Men. The pupils enjoyed looking at the different figures each class brought up to the front of the hall.
We sang lots of the school’s favourite Christmas songs and the pupils had opportunities to dance and sing along.
It was lovely to welcome parents and family members to celebrate the occasion with us. Happy Christmas.
