I have been the Vice Chair since 8th July 2024.  My background is within the NHS now retired after 44 years. I was a midwife working locally in all areas of midwifery a very rewarding career. I was Deputy Head of Midwifery at Princess Alexandra Hospital in my latter few years of working. I also worked within neonatal intensive care and worked at Addenbrookes in Cambridge.

I feel my experience of working with people, supporting many families through difficult times and ones of great pleasures however small will help me in the role of governor to support the children, parents and staff at this wonderful school.

I joined the governing body as the clerk in 2014.  I was employed by Amwell View School & Specialist Sports College in 2011 and have been in my current role as the school business manager since 2018.

This school opens up the world to its pupils. Pupils make astonishing progress because staff are highly skilled. They deliver expertly bespoke curriculums according to pupils’ needs.

Staff know pupils exceptionally well. There is no ceiling to the ambition they have for the pupils in their charge.
