Amwell View School and Specialist Sports College

The success of the last three years has led to another judgement of Outstanding by Ofsted (February 2010). This is not everything though. It is the way that we feel about the school that makes it such a successful organisation for staff, parents, other professionals and most of all pupils. A true sense of belongings encourages pride and commitment, enabling achievement and attainment to be a key focus. With such passion about learning pupils work with staff to improve and to be the best they can.

Pupils have a more developed sense of personal worth, respect and confidence. As Dr Michael Farrell (Lead Inspector) said to me......"Your pupils are healthy extoverts"! My reply...."We call it confidence" was met with a pleasing smile and answer of "Yes".
